Satan: The Dark OTT Release Date: The Tamil horror psychological thriller Satan: The Dark is gearing up for its digital release following its theatrical run earlier this year. Written and directed by Manikandan Ramalingam, the film features FJ, Ayraa, Chandini Tamilarasan, Mona Bedre, and Sreeja Ravi in key roles. The movie was released in cinemas on March 27, 2026.

Set during the era of the East India Company, the film begins with a failed witchcraft ritual in the village of Asthinapuram that unleashes a dark curse haunting the area for generations. Years later, a young man finds himself forced to confront the village's terrifying past as he tries to save the woman he loves from the deadly grip of the curse.

Alongside directing the project, Manikandan Ramalingam also handled the screenplay. The film has been produced by Edward under the EPS Pictures banner. Bala G Ramasamy worked as the cinematographer, while music for the film was composed by Aswin Krishna. Editing was handled by Rajkumar and Kovai Abishek DFT.

The technical crew also includes Surendran Selvaraj as art director and Danger Mani as stunt choreographer. Sound design was managed by Aswathaman Siva, while the sound mix was completed by AM Senthamizhan. The project's visual effects were handled by Realworks. Costumes for the film were designed by Tamizhiniya MM, and the publicity designs were created by Monic.
