Sirai Box Office Collection Day 8: Vikram Prabhu-Starrer Film Sees Sharp Uptick In Earnings

Sirai Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Sirai has completed eight days in theaters, with its India net box office collection standing at an estimated ₹11.9 crore. The film, led by Vikram Prabhu, was released on December 25, 2025, and entered its ninth day of theatrical run today, January 2.

According to figures reported by box office tracking portal Sacnilk, Sirai saw a notable rise in collections on Day 8 (second Thursday), earning around ₹2.9 crore based on early and rough estimates. This marked the film's highest single-day collection so far and contributed significantly to its overall first-week total.

The film opened with ₹1.05 crore on its first day, followed by a slight drop on Friday with ₹0.9 crore. Collections picked up over the weekend, with Saturday bringing in ₹1.3 crore and Sunday recording ₹1.8 crore. As expected, the film witnessed a dip at the start of the workweek, earning ₹1.2 crore on Monday. However, numbers showed gradual recovery on Tuesday and Wednesday, with ₹1.35 crore and ₹1.4 crore, respectively, before the sharp jump on Day 8.

Sirai is directed by Suresh Rajakumari, marking his directorial debut, and is based on a story written by Tamizh, known for Taanakkaran (2022). The film is produced by S. S. Lalit Kumar under the Seven Screen Studio banner, with L. K. Vishnu Kumar as co-producer.

Alongside Vikram Prabhu, the film features L. K. Akshay Kumar, Anishma Anilkumar, making her Tamil debut, and Anantha Thambirajah in key roles. The technical crew includes cinematographer Madhesh Manickam, music composer Justin Prabhakaran, and editor Philomin Raj. The screenplay has been jointly written by Tamizh and Suresh Rajakumari, with action sequences choreographed by PC Stunts and sound design handled by Sync Cinema.
