Sirai Box Office Collection: The Tamil action thriller Sirai, starring Vikram Prabhu in the lead role, has completed nine days of its theatrical run and entered Day 10 in cinemas today, January 3. Released on December 25, 2025, the film has continued its box office journey through the extended holiday period, showing fluctuating but consistent collections across its first week and beyond.

According to estimates reported by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, Sirai has earned approximately ₹13.22 crore net in India over its first nine days. The film's performance indicates a moderate run, supported by weekend footfalls and a notable spike during the second week.

The film opened with ₹1.05 crore on its first day, followed by a slight drop on Day 2, when it collected around ₹0.9 crore. Collections improved over the opening weekend, with Day 3 and Day 4 bringing in ₹1.3 crore and ₹1.8 crore, respectively. As expected, weekday numbers dipped after the weekend, with Day 5 closing at about ₹1.2 crore. However, the film showed some stability during the midweek period, earning approximately ₹1.35 crore on Day 6 and ₹1.4 crore on Day 7.

A significant jump was recorded on Day 8, which coincided with the second Thursday, when Sirai collected around ₹2.92 crore. This spike contributed substantially to the film's overall total and helped push its Week 1 collection to approximately ₹11.92 crore. Day 9, which fell on a Friday, saw collections ease again, with rough estimates placing the day's earnings at around ₹1.3 crore. With this, the film's cumulative India net total after nine days stands at ₹13.22 crore.

About Sirai

Sirai follows a police constable who is assigned to transport a murder accused from prison to court, a task that begins as a routine escort. However, the journey takes an unexpected turn as unfolding events reveal buried truths, bringing to the surface institutional failures, entrenched religious bias, and the accused's troubled past marked by love, loss, and injustice, forcing the constable to question his own beliefs and sense of duty.

Directed by Suresh Rajakumari in his feature film debut, Sirai is based on a story written by Tamizh, known for Taanakkaran (2022). The film marks the second collaboration between Tamizh and Vikram Prabhu. Produced by SS Lalit Kumar under the Seven Screen Studio banner, the project also features LK Akshay Kumar and Anishma Anilkumar, making her Tamil debut, and Anantha Thambirajah in key roles.

On the technical front, the film's cinematography is handled by Madhesh Manickam, while music is composed by Justin Prabhakaran. Editing is by Philomin Raj, with Tamizh and Suresh Rajakumari jointly credited for the screenplay.
