Released theatrically on January 15, 2026, the film entered cinemas midweek and has shown gradual growth over its opening run. As of Day 4, early box office estimates suggest that the film has collected approximately ₹15.15 crore India net.

According to figures shared by box office tracking platform Sacnilk, the film opened on Thursday with collections of around ₹1.5 crore. The numbers saw a noticeable jump on Friday, with earnings rising to ₹2.9 crore, reflecting an increase driven by word-of-mouth and the start of the weekend. Saturday recorded a further rise, bringing in about ₹5.5 crore, marking the film's highest single-day collection so far. On Sunday, Day 4, the film earned an estimated ₹5.25 crore, based on early and rough data. Despite a marginal dip from Saturday, the weekend figures contributed significantly to the overall total.
With ₹15.15 crore accumulated over its first four days, Thalaivar Thambi Thalaimaiyil has managed to establish a stable footing at the box office. The collections indicate that audience turnout improved steadily after the opening day, particularly during the weekend period.
