According to figures reported by Sacnilk, Vaa Vaathiyaar opened on Wednesday with collections of around ₹1.65 crore. Thursday witnessed an improvement, with the film earning about ₹2.35 crore, marking its strongest day during the opening stretch. However, collections declined on Friday to ₹1.55 crore, followed by a further drop on Saturday, when the film added roughly ₹1.45 crore to its total.

On Sunday, Day 5, the film is estimated to have earned around ₹0.54 crore, based on early and rough data.
