Debutant
director
Sivaraman
has
conveyed
the
story
without
any
slips
in
the
narration.
He
has
rightly
made
use
of
the
newcomers'
talents.
With
Yoga
flexing
his
muscles,
Maranthean
Meimaranthean
is
certainly
a
film
for
the
masses.
After
a
relatively
sedate
start,
the
movie
takes
the
top
gear
towards
the
interval.
Yoga
works
hard
to
become
a
military
officer.
His
father
dies
suddenly,
in
a
matter
of
days.
After
the
death
of
his
father,
he
decides
to
stay
at
his
uncle's
house
abiding
by
the
wish
of
his
uncle.
All
of
them
try
to
persuade
him
to
marry
his
uncle's
daughter.
He
escapes
from
them
and
comes
to
Chennai.
There
he
works
as
a
gas
delivery
man.
There
he
picks
up
a
quarrel
with
the
owner
and
runs
away
from
there
by
their
car.
On
his
way
to
his
friend's
house
at
Vishakkapatnam,
he
finds
the
gas
company
owner's
sister
Renu
inside
that
car.
Renu
falls
in
love
with
him.
Meanwhile,
his
uncle
and
the
gas
company
owner's
henchmen
start
a
search
for
him.
The
director
has
given
an
unexpected
and
different
climax.
Yoga
has
given
his
best
performance
both
in
dance
and
stunts.
Poornitha,
who
made
her
debut
as
child
artist
by
the
name
Kalyani,
has
been
introduced
as
a
heroine
through
this
movie.
Both
of
them
have
lived
up
to
their
characters.
Dhina's
music
makes
the
audience
tap
their
feet.
