Nepali
is
surely
a
different
attempt
from
the
new
combination
of
young
Bharath
and
Director
VZ
Durai.
But
the
later
has
failed
in
using
Bharath's
hard
efforts
and
thirst
for
doing
different
thing
in
right
way.
The
story
travels
simultaneously
in
three
different
angles.
But
all
about
the
same
old
vengeance
based
story
with
overdose
of
violence
and
blood.
In
other
words,
it
is
the
crap
version
of
Manmathan
and
Gajini.
Here
is
the
story:
Karthik
(
Bharath)
is
a
software
Engineer,
who
meets
Priya
(Meera
Jasmine)
in
Ooty.
As
expected,
they
fall
in
love
and
her
family
objects
them.
They
simply
elope
and
get
married.
But
soon
she
is
killed
by
a
police
officer
(Raja
Ravindar)
when
he
tries
to
rape
her.
Later,
the
blame
falls
on
Karthik.
Soon
Karthik
kills
the
officer
and
goes
to
jail.
After
completing
his
6
years
sentence,
he
comes
out
and
turns
into
a
serial
killer.
He
targets
men,
who
harass
women
at
workplace
with
using
different
methods
of
killing.
And
after
each
murder,
he
gives
the
medical
details
of
how
the
death
happened
in
a
weird
voice
with
graphical
work.
Gautham
(Prem),
the
investigating
officer
tries
his
level
best
to
nab
the
killer,
though
he
leaves
a
note
about
the
time
and
hints
about
his
next
target.
The
rest
of
the
film
explains
the
plans
of
police
to
catch
the
Killer.
Bharath
appears
in
three
different
get
ups
and
tries
to
do
the
justice
to
his
commitment.
Though
the
actor
shows
his
acting
abilities
in
many
scenes,
he
can't
perform
wisely
or
attractively.
The
actual
villain
of
the
movie
is
the
script
that
lets
him
down.
Particularly,
the
make-up
of
a
Nepali
looks
artificial.
Meera's
romantic
scenes
with
Bharath
are
really
hot.
But
in
few
scenes
she
looks
like
Bharath's
elder
sister.
Prem,
Govind
Namdev
and
others
are
adequate.
Srikanth
Deva's
background
score
is
noisy
and
in
few
places
it
remembers
the
tracks
of
7G
Rainbow
Colony.
On
a
positive
side,
the
climax
scene
is
good
and
novel.
Cinematographer
Madhi
has
set
the
right
tone
to
bring
the
mood
of
the
script.
Nepali,
a
different
attempt
on
an
unimpressive
plot!
Verdict:
Just
watch
out
the
film
for
Bharath's
different
attempt!
