Azhagu Raja (Karthi), the only son of Prabhu and Saranya Ponvannan, owns an unpopular cable channel named AAA. There are only two employees, one being Raja and other Kalyanam (Santhanam) in the TV channel. No matter what they do, neither TRPs nor revenues were improving. The hero, accidentally, comes across Devi Priya (Kajal Aggarwal).
Instead of trying to impress her, Azhagu Raja picks up a fight with Devi Priya when she sings a song at a marriage. Her weird singing songs irk him and eventually, makes him to express his anger on her singing abilities. Sooner or later she realises that her singing is very bad. Lengthy Story
The story of All in All Azhagu Raja is too lengthy and mainly banks on the comedy part. Precisely on Santhanam.
Tests Your Patience
The length of the movie, despite shortening by 11 minutes, bothers the audience to the maximum extent. It tests your patience in the second half as M Rajesh beats around the bush to wrap up the film.
Wrong Placement Of Song
While the first half is passable, the second half is highly boring. The placement of the last song irks the audience.
Karthi's Performance
Karthi has given a good performance in All in All Azhagu Raja. His 80s avatars will be appreciated by fans.
Kajal Aggarwal
Kajal Aggarwal has played her part well. But this time, the actress, who is believed to be a lucky charm for producers, has failed to repeat her magic as the screenplay is badly written.
Santhanam
Santhanam comes out with brilliant performance. Even his avatars of 80s will be praised.
Other Characters
Rest other characters like Prabhu, Radhika Apte, Saranya Ponvannan and MS Bhaskar have justified their roles.
Music
S Thaman's 'Yaarukum sollaama' and 'Unna partha neram' are good. His background score is praiseworthy. Remaining departments are okay.
Verdict
A comedy story presented in a boring way. Watch it if you love Santhanam's comedies or if you are Karthi's fan.
