Vijay
Antony,
after
trying
his
hand
at
a
couple
of
thrillers,
is
back
with
an
out
and
out
fun
riot
in
India
Pakistan.
Is
the
movie
worth
its
promotions?

out
in

review.
India
Pakistan
Plot:
Vijay
Antony
and
Sushma
Raj
are
lawyers
and
are
forced
to
share
a
house(also
their
office)
under
one
condition:
whoever
manages
to
nab
the
first
case
can
stay
while
the
other
should
walk
out.
Rest
of
the
plot
revolves
around
the
lead
pairs'
bitter
sweet
relationship
intertwined
with
another
story
that
involves
a
cop.
In
a
cinematic
twist,
both
Vijay
and
Sushma
land
up
in
the
same
case(land
dispute).
While
Vijay
defends
Pasupathy,
Sushma
fights
for
MS
Bhaskar.
What
happens
to
the
case
and
how
does
a
corrupt
cop
involves
himself
into
the
story
is
said
with
a
generous
dose
of
comedy
turning
this
into
a
fun
riot.
Performances:
Newcomer
Sushma
shines
throughout
with
her
body
language
and
lip
sync.
Her
expressions
will
make
you
wonder
if
this
is
really
her
first
outing.
MS
Bhaskar
and
Pasupathy
add
strength
and
stability
to
the
casting.
Watch
out
for
Manobala's
performance
in
the
climax
which
will
leave
you
rolling
in
the
aisles.
Vijay
Antony
disappoints
with
his
rigid
expressions
and
body
language.
Looks
like
he
is
still
stuck
in
his
previous
character(Salim)
and
needs
to
come
out
of
it
to
prove
that
he
can
handle
various
subjects.
Technicalities:
Music
by
Deena
Devarajan
is
a
huge
let
down
as
he
fails
to
impress
with
his
songs(bad
placement
of
songs
don't
help
either).
His
background
score
too
is
mediocre.
The
film
does
tests
your
patience
at
times
but
is
saved
by
its
brilliant
comedy
sequences.
Editor
M
Thiyagarajan
could've
used
his
scissors
a
bit
more
to
shorten
the
movie's
length.
Cinematography
by
N
Om
is
subtle
which
makes
it
difficult
to
judge
the
angles.
He
has
failed
to
capture
the
mood
and
tone
of
certain
scenes
though.
Screenplay
by
director
N
Anand
is
pretty
straight
forward
which
helps
a
film
like
India
Pakistan
as
its
lone
aim
is
just
to
make
you
laugh
and
the
director
has
succeeded
in
doing
so.
Overall
View:
India
Pakistan
sure
manages
to
leave
you
in
splits
but
fails
to
do
that
throughout
and
has
nothing
else
to
offer.

Pasupathy's
acting
is
a
class
apart.
You
throw
him
with
any
character
and
the
actor
manages
to

The
Saving
Grace
It
can
be
said
that
the
movie's
first
half
was
saved
by
Jagan
and
without
his
comedy
sequences
the
first
half
would've
fallen
flat.
Vijay

The
film
was
announced

in

when
he

that
he
would

on
the
project
alongside
his

to
another

One
Of
The
Best
Scene
Though
the
film
is
aimed
at
making
the
audience
laugh,
which
it
achieves,
a
few
technical
and
logical
flaws
comes
back
to
hinder
the
flow
of
the
film.
Other
Cast
And
Crew
All
the
other
artists
who
have
done
supporting
roles
have
done
their
bit
and
manage
to
evoke
laughter
as
well.
Vijay
Antony's
New
Career?
If
Vijay
is
taking
his
acting
career
seriously,
then
he
perhaps,
should
take
it
seriously
and
start
working
on
his
versatility
and
expressions.
Box
Office
Success?
Despite
the
mixed
critics
review,
looks
like
the
movie
has
enough
in
it
to
become
a
box
office
success.
