Rating:
2.5/5

N4 is the film in which Gabrella Sellus and Vinusha Devi, the heroines of Sundari and Bharathi Kannamma serials who have captivated the hearts of small screen fans, enters for the first time as the lead actress in the silver screen. Michael Thangadurai, Anupama Kumar, Abhishek Shankar, Vadikukarasi and many other celebrities have acted along with them.

N4 Movie Review

Directed by director Lokesh Kumar, this movie released in theaters today. In the film, Michael Thangathurai, Gabrella, Afzal and Vinusha Devi are orphans.

When they grow up, they are doing fish business in Kasimedu area of Chennai. At that time, Abhishek, a college student, used to frequently visit the Kasimedu fishing harbor with his friends and engage in bad habits like drinking alcohol and smoking cigarettes.

Actress Anupama Kumar works as an inspector in the N4 police station of the area. Even though they are all in the same area, they are not familiar with each other. In this situation, an incident is happening in Kasimedu area.

N4

What is the sensational incident ? What is the problem it caused to the lead characters? How they escape from it is the story of the film. The actors and actresses have did their job perfectly in every single character. We should appreciate director Lokesh Kumar for bringing the best out of every potential performer.

Especially, the serial actresses Gabrella and Vinusha Devi have proved their talents on the silver screen as well. Though Gabrella has acted in other films like Nayanthara starrer Aira, this is her first film as a lead actress. And throughout this film they have naturally portrayed the story that takes place in Kasimedu fishing port. Cinematography looks too good.

Director Lokesh has presented the film as an action thriller mixed with lively suspense. Since the expectations of the film were high among the Sundari and Barathi Kannamma TV serial fans, the film initially caused a stir among the viewers. But unfortunately it turns out to be an average film at the box office that fails to create an impressive word of mouth publicity. Lokesh Kumar should have concentrated more on the screenplay.
