Ponniyin Selvan 2 First Review: Chiyaan Vikram Nailed It As Aditha Karikalan in PS2!

Ponniyin Selvan 2 Movie released today across the globe and it is getting amazing response from fans.

Those who watched the film celebrates Chiyaan Vikram and Aishwarya Rai's outstanding performance in the movie.

Right from the first scene that starts with Nandhini's flashback, director Mani Ratnam makes the audience engaging. Nandhini's romantic track with Adhitha Karikalan works too good on-screen. On the other hand, AR Rahman mesmerizes us with the song Veera Raja Veera. Chinnanjiru Nilave is also placed perfectly in the flashback portion.

Pre interval block was really good. It finished with an intense scene where Arunmozhi tactfully escapes from being murdered. Second half is intense. War sequences remind of game of thrones.

Karikalan's scenes with Vikram Prabhu, Kadambur Maaligai Entry Sequence, Siblings Meet, Nandini's Faceoff are just getting tremendous applause at the theatres.

Though the movie moves on a very slow pace, it gives a feel good experience for those who read the Ponniyin Selvan novel already. On an overall the screenplay is too good and engage the audience till the end.

Ravivarman has given his hundred percent in cinematography as usual. Trisha, Jayam Ravi and Karthi did their best. But Vikram is the real show stealer in PS2.
