Jodha Akbar 17th January written Episode: Akbar tells that he will definitely punish Shivani and her lover Tejwant, who have broken Mirza’s heart. They would never be able to escape. Akbar has sent men to all directions to find them out.

Saifuddin is informed that Benazir is the weapon of Abul Mali, to kill Akbar. He sends urgent message to Jodha. He alerts Jodha about the fact. Benazir suffers a lot for lack of poison in her body. While she is groaning and moaning in pain, Zakira finds that they have no more snakes in stock.

Before Jodha gets a scope to inform Akbar about Saifuddin’s message, Akbar becomes busy in the preparation of war. He calls a meeting and informs everyone that the Pathans have started rebellion against the Mughal dynasty. So they must be taught a lesson. He gives the prime responsibility of this fight upon Mirza. He recruits Man Singh as Mirza’s chief attendant. Man Singh commits to prove his loyalty to the Mughal dynasty.

Adam Khan becomes angry to see that Mirza has been given such a big responsibility. He thinks he deserves the post. Akbar’s mother tells Akbar that Mirza still needs some time to overcome the emotional crisis, but Akbar says that for a Mughal man there can be no greater religion than war. And this engagement in war will help Mirza to forget his crisis.

Maha Manga and Begum Rukaiya are upset about the fact that King Varmal has been set free. As Jodha’s maid servants ask for leave to celebrate Shiv Ratri, Maha Manga denies it.
