Bidaai's Parul Chauhan & Chirag Thakkar Marrying On Dec 12; Actress Reveals Chirag's Not Her Beau!

Television actress Parul Chauhan, who came to be known for her role in the show Sapna Bahul Ka- Bidaai is getting married to actor Chirag Thakkar on December 12, 2018. The actress who has always maintained a low profile with regard to her personal life, surprised her fans by making this sudden announcement. What comes across more shocking is the fact that Chirag is nor her boyfriend. While talking to Times of India, she revealed that Chirag and she never dated.

Parul said, "Chirag is not my boyfriend, he is my friend. We have not dated in the conventional term. If having coffee together and sharing everything with your best friend amounts to dating, then yes, we dated for three years. I met Chirag in 2015 through a common friend and found him to be completely different from the people I come across usually. He is a simple and rooted guy. He did not propose to me."

Revealing more details about the wedding she said, "Everybody had this question, so finally, yes, the time has come. I am getting married on December 12. We haven't zeroed in on the venue yet, but there will be a court marriage in Mumbai, followed by a small function in my hometown, Lakhimpur Kheri, Uttar Pradesh, and a get-together in Mumbai."

Parul further added that no one was aware of her wedding plans besides family and her show producer Rajan Shahi. The actress was in London when she wanted to tell Rajan about Chirag, but she chose to do that in person and seek his blessings.

Taking about Rajan's reaction to her getting married, Parul said, "He was very happy and that was visible on his face. He met Chirag on the auspicious day of Ganesh Chaturthi. Rajan sir told Chirag to take care of his daughter and keep her happy always, to which Chirag happily said, 'yes'."
