Last week, commoner contestant Saba Khan got eliminated from Bigg Boss 12. She had entered the show with her sister Somi Khan, who is still inside the glass house fighting for the Bigg Boss trophy. Somi and Saba originally hail from Rajasthan. After eviction, when Saba went back to her hometown Jaipur, she received a grand welcome. She was showered with garlands and was applauded for brave portrayal on the reality show.
Saba, who originally belongs from the hospitality industry, had no idea as to how to deal with the glam life and people from the industry before entering the show. While talking to Times of India she said, "Both Somi and I belong to a simple middle class family and did not know anything about the glam world. It was just during our sabbatical from work that the auditions for BB 12 were happening and we just decided to give it a try."
She further added, "We were ourselves shocked when we got selected for the show and that was an achievement in itself. I am happy that I came this far in the game-show but absolutely disappointed with my early eviction."
In an interview with India Today, while talking about her stint on Bigg Boss 12, Saba said, "The journey was fantastic. But I am a little disappointed as I was playing well and wasn't expecting to get out so soon. People probably didn't like that I used to voice my opinions and that's why I am out. The housemates realised very early on that these girls are very strong, and they started playing emotional games with us."
