Erica Fernandes has proved to the world that she is extremely good at maintaining secrets. The actress who is currently busy shooting for Ekta Kapoor's Kasautii Zindagi Kay 2 revealed something that will take you by surprise! Erica, while talking to a leading daily, said that nobody knew about her landing the role of Prerna, including her own family! She said her father came to know about her playing the iconic part once the news started making rounds in the media.

Erica said, "I am so excited to finally reveal it that I am playing the character of Prerna. I was asked to maintain confidentiality till the official statement was made. I am great at keeping secrets; though I live with my parents, I did not share this news even with my father. Just like everyone else, my father was exposed to this news just a few weeks back and he was extremely surprised on getting this news and is super proud of me."
