Indian Idol Season 10: Khailash Kher Thought Vishal Dadlani’s Offer Was A Prank!
Khailash Kher talks about thinking Vishal Dandlani’s offer to be a prank when he appears on Indian Idol 10. Vishal called Sreerama Chandra a threat.

The Season 10 of the singing reality show, Indian Idol, has been in the headlines a lot lately, as its grand premiere will take place today July 28, 2018, at 8 PM on the Sony Entertainment Television. Besides the vigorous auditions by the judges who have picked the 14 best singers from across India, the show will be showcasing singer Khailash Kher soon! But, the story behind Khailash's association with the Indian Idol judge Vishal Dadlani dates back to the time when the former thought the latter's offer was a prank!
When Khailash was on the sets of Indian Idol shooting for an episode, he got nostalgic on seeing Vishal. Allah Ke Bande, which is composed by Vishal and Shekar, is sung by Khailash Kher. But when Khailash was approached for this song, he thought it was a prank.
Recollecting the memory Khailash said, "I was in my own world when Vishal called me for the song. I thought someone was playing a prank on me. I still had doubts when I went to record the song in a small room and only one harmonium. But when the song came out after one and a half years, it got all real."
Apart from Khailash Kher, the Indian Idol stage will grace the presence of Season 5 winner Sreeram Chandra too. The Shubhanallah singer came to support and motivate the contestant Saurabh Valmiki. On seeing Sreerama, Vishal went on to say that he's a triple threat to the society.
"Sreerama is what is known in the entertainment business as a "triple-threat". He excels at whatever he does, be it singing, dancing or acting. An all-round performer. Sreerama came to support our contestant Saurabh Valmiki for the grand premier episode of Indian Idol", Vishal said.
To which Sreeram responded saying, "I am overwhelmed with Vishal's comment, it feels very good. am very happy coming back to Indian Idol and this time is very special.It is very nostalgic as I was the winner of Indian Idol season 5 and today I am a playback singer. Neha is a very good friend of mine and I am very happy to see Neha over there. She is doing great."
"Recently we did a series where we sang a couple of songs together. I This stage has helped me a lot in shaping my career. Anu ji is still there as a judge and it feels really good to see them. I would like to wish all the contestants good luck and lots of wishes to them", he further added.
