The makers have kept the viewers hooked on to their screens by showcasing some of the most unexpected twists such as Shivaay's troubled mental state and his plans of re-marriage. However, according to the Pinkvilla's recent reports, Ishqbaaz is all set to take a generation leap. Rumours are making rounds that Surbhi Chandna might quit the show, as she's unhappy with the new track. Here's what the makers have to say about it.
Anika's Furious With Shivaay
Until now in Ishqbaaz we saw that Shivaay convinces Twinkle to put up a re-marriage act. Though Twinkle tells Anika she is in love with Chintoo, she agrees to play along with Shivaay, as he requests her. Anika is shocked to learn that Twinkle has accepted to marry Shivaay.
Shivaay Asks Anika To Leave
Anika confronts Shivaay and tells him that she knows he's staging the marriage. However, Shivaay bluntly tells Anika that he is serious about marrying Twinkle. Anika, unaware of Shivaay's good intentions for her, decides to leave the house.
Anika To Get Pregnant With Shivaay's Child
According to Tellychakkar's recent spoilers, in the later episodes, Anika is shown to be pregnant with Shivaay's child. Shivaay, who is guilty about hurting her, tries to make up for his actions by taking care of her. We need to wait and watch if Anika's pregnancy will finally change Shivaay's mind about her.

A source told Pinkvilla, "The channel wants to take Shivika's story a little forward with this track as that is the most natural thing to do instead of rehashing and repeating the age old daily soap gimmicks."
Will Surbhi Quit The Show?
Apparently, Surbhi's not happy playing a mother's role. The source said, "The channel has been considering exploring the Shivika's baby track after receiving a lot of fan requests on mail. However, like many other TV actors, seems like, Surbhi also is a bit apprehensive about playing a mother onscreen. Hence, the channel is currently in the process of working things out and trying to find a way out of this but they are very much certain of having her onboard."
