Kubra Sait Defends Nawazuddin Siddiqui Against Niharika; 'A Relationship Gone Sour, Isn't #MeToo'
Sacred Games actress Kubra Sait defends Nawazuddin Siddiqui against allegations made by former Miss India Niharika Singh. Kubra Tweeted in Nawzuddin's support.
Sacred
Games
actress
Kubra
Sait
has
come
forward
to
defend
Nawazuddin
Siddiqui
after
his
ex-girlfriend
and
former
Miss
India
Niharika
Singh
accused
him
in
her
#MeToo
account.
Kubra
took
to
her
Twitter
handle
to
voice
her
opinion
on
the
issue
and
support
Nawazuddin.
In
the
Tweets,
the
actress
says
that
one
shouldn't
involve
personal
relationship
issues
while
addressing
a
movement
such
as
#Metoo.
Kubra
tweeted,
"I
stand
by
the
fact
that
although
Niharika
Singh
may
have
had
a
tough
time
in
the
industry,
categorising
her
once
personal
relationship
as
a
#MeToo
statement
is
incorrectly
placed.
We
as
humans
are
flawed.
That
isn't
gender
specific."
In
another
tweet,
she
said,
"A
relationship
gone
sour,
isn't
#MeToo
someone
needs
to
recognise
the
toxic
difference
before
we
go
picking
sides.I
stand
by
#NawazuddinSiddiqui
or
#Nowaz
as
a
man."

Last
year,
Niharika
and
a
few
other
women
accused
the
Manto
actor
for
lying
in
his
autobiography,
which
was
later
withdrawn
by
the
publishers
Penguin
Random
House.
Niharika
called
him
out
for
'exploiting
and
disrespecting
women'.
Niharika
also
revealed
that
Nawazuddin
had
invited
her
home
for
breakfast
and
tried
to
misbehave
by
grabbing
her.
She
said,
"I
tried
to
push
him
away
but
he
wouldn't
let
go.
After
a
little
coercion,
I
finally
gave
in.
I
wasn't
sure
what
to
make
of
this
relationship."
However,
Nawazuddin
is
yet
to
comment
on
the
allegations
made
against
him.
Also,
we
need
to
wait
and
watch
what
Niharika
has
to
say
about
Kubra
defending
Nawazuddin.

tuned
for
more
updates.
