#MeToo : Anu Malik To Continue Judging Indian Idol 10 Following Sexual Harassment Allegations?

Yesterday, singer Shweta Pandit accused Indian Idol 10 judge Anu Malik of sexual misconduct. She wrote a long post on Twitter handle stating that the singer asked her for a kiss when she was only 15! Previously, another singer, Sona Mohapatra called out Anu Malik for being a "serial predator". Though, several women have voiced their opinion against him, the makers of Indian Idol 10 have chosen to stay mum about the issue. A source close to the channel revealed shocking truth to Mid Day.

The source said, "They have taken note of the developments, but no decision has been taken yet. It is a wait-and-watch situation as Anu Malik is synonymous with the show. Though netizens have been tagging Sony TV in their online demand to oust him, the channel officials are keeping mum for now,".

Does that mean he will continue judging the show? However, the netizens are extremely furious and have been demanding for answers on the social media handles. When Anu Malik was approached for a comment, he rubbished the statements made by the women who he has alleged harassed.
