Shaheer Sheikh's Dastaan-E-Mohabbat Promo: The Historical Visuals Will Take You Back In Time

Shaheer Sheikh will be seen playing a historical role yet again with the television show Dastaan-E-Mohabbat. The promo of the show was released by the Colors channel on its official Twitter handle and the visuals seem to take you back in time! Television actors Shaheer Sheikh and Sonarika Bhadoria will be seen playing the role of Salim and Anarkali, respectively. Apparently, Shaheer was the makers' first choice to play this role. Also, reports are hinting that Shahbaz Khan has been finalized to play the role of Emperor Akbar on the show.

The promo showcases the glory and riches of the Mughal dynasty. Previously, in an interview with Pinkvilla, Shaheer had told that he was looking forward to playing a historical character in a show. He also had said he was impressed with Dilip Kumarji's acting in Mughal-E-Azam and said that he would like to play a role similar to that.

Shaheer was last seen on the television show Kuch Rang Pyar Ke Aise Bhi, in which he starred opposite Erica Fernandes. Their on-screen chemistry gained them a huge popularity among the fans. Recently, Shaheer wished Erica Fernandes luck for playing Prerna on Ekta Kapoor's remake of the epic love-saga Kasautii Zindagi Kay.
