Shakti's Aanand Goradia's #MeToo Story; Male Writer Offered Alcohol, Played P*rn & Touched Him!

The #MeToo movement lead to several victims and survivors from across the nation share their stories of being sexually harassed. And now, yet again, another television celebrity has come forward to share his traumatizing #MeToo encounter. This time, it is none other than the Shakti - Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki actor Aanand Goradia, who while talking to Times of India, has revealed that he was sexually harassed by a writer years ago who happens to be a man. Aanand also said that even 15 years later, since the unfortunate incident occurred, the writer meets him still!
Aanand Was First Offered Alcohol
Sharing his #Metoo story, Aanand said, "It happened years ago when I was trying to make a name for myself. A senior writer said he would help me get into a reputed production house and then help me settle as an actor, and called me to his house. He started by offering alcohol and then went on to put on porn."
The Writer Asked Him To Fulfill Physical Desires
He further added, "Later when he started touching me, I got the hint and asked him what his intentions were. He said that if I gave into his physical desires then only would he help me. I politely excused myself."
The Man Still Meets Him
The 42-year-old actor further revealed that, it's been over 15 years since the incident occurred and the writer still meets him. He was quoted saying, "In spite of me making a mark in the industry, that man still meets me. But now he doesn't have the guts to look into my eyes."
Anand On Risks Involved In The Industry
"Such incidents happen everywhere, in all professions, but it got blown up in our industry due to the glamour and limelight. The industry is also very ambitious, everyone wants a car, a flat and everything luxurious easily in a short span of time. When there's more ambition. there's more at risk, too," Aanand concluded.
