This Actress To Play Nakuul's Love Interest In Ishqbaaz? Fans Request Her Not To Replace Surbhi!
Sonal Vengurlekar wrote a long note on her Instagram handle hinting at playing Nakuul's love interest on Ishqbaaz post leap. Fans requested her not to replace Surbhi Chandna.
A few days ago, producer of Ishqbaaz, Gul Khan confirmed that the show was taking a generation leap. Post leap, several characters are rumoured to go missing from the show, including the lead actress Surbhi Chandna aka Anika. However, Nakuul will be seen playing the role Shivaay's son's role post leap. Recently, television actress Sonal Vengurlekar shared a long note on her Instagram handle, in which she's seen favouring Gul Khan for her decisions with regard to choosing the characters.
In the note Sonal has said, "Within a span of few hours I have received numerous hateful comments directed towards me, Gul Mam and the writer of the show.. how is so much hatred justified for the producer and writers who hv iven you guys your favorites."
She further added, "I am not sure myself about my casting but you guys seem to know it all. If they have taken a decision it must be for a good reason, after all the previous cast was ultimately their decision too. It's not fair rather wrong to behave so badly n hatefully towards producers, writers who have given hits on their merit."
Upon reading the post, fans began to share a few hateful comments that were directed at Sonal. While a few fans threatened her that her career would end if she accepted the role, the others requested her not to replace Surbhi Chandna. One of the fans' comments read,
"Sonal, I am seriously a good follower of yours personally since the days of THE BUDDY PROJECT. Your acting have always made me happy and I always appreciated you in every way possible when you did your previous shows. But dear, I am politely requesting you to not accept the proposal of doing this show named Ishqbaaaz, I know it is your life, your career and your decision."
"But the major fact is our Surbhi Di has spent her four years almost in hardwork to make this show stand where it is today, but the arrogant producer is hell bent to insult her and push her out of the show without giving any credit. Not even her, all the other casts have also worked hard day and night for this show. Thus I am saying that we all would be really happy and very grateful if you deny the proposal if you have got it." - (sic)
