Tu Aashiqui’s Jannat Zubair Says She Loves Spending Time With Family On Eid!

Jannat Zubair, known for her role in the show Tu Aashiqui, talked about celebrating Eid with her family and her parents supporting her through her decisions.

Tu Aashiqui's teen-star Jannat Zubair is celebrating Eid with her family today (August 22, 2018). The actress who has gained a huge fan following, says Eid for her is all about spending quality time with family, feasting and dressing up. Talking about balancing work and personal life on this special occasion, in an interview with Times of India, Jannat spoke in detail about how she celebrates the day. Having started her acting career at a very young age, she is currently seen playing the role of Pankti on Color's show Tu Aashiqui.

She said, "Apart from dressing up and feasting, I love spending time with my family on Eid. Since I have to shoot every day, and Ayaan (her younger brother) has also started acting, we hardly get time to spend with each other. It is only on occasions like these that we enjoy ourselves together."

"Earlier, I used to get a lot of eidi from all the elders in the family and as my brother was younger, he wouldn't ask for much. I have grown up now, but he's still the little kid of our family and therefore he's the most pampered one, especially on Eid. Now, he gets most of the eidi, but I don't mind it," she added.

She said, "We have a shoot scheduled for today, but since it is Eid, I hope I'll not have to go for it. I don't have elaborate plans for the celebrations. We will have a get together at our home and spend some quality time together. Clicking pictures and eating yummy food is the only work we are going to do today."

The actress was in the news previously when she refused to be a part of intimate scenes. Her family stood by her decision. Talking about this, she had told in an interview, "They are happy as it has been a very tough period for all of us. Thankfully, we didn't come under any pressure and my parents supported my decision. Now, henceforth, whatever scenes I do on the show will be written keeping in mind my age and personality."

She said, "A lot of youths and children regard me- my dressing sense, my actions too. So, I always want to set a right example for them and by doing all this at 16, I don't want to send out any incorrect advice to them. Their parents also love to watch the show as for them I am someone who is doing proper stuff."
