Bigg Boss 16 Live Updates: Salman Khan's Show Begins

Lo and behold! These are the 15 contestants who will compete for the trophy of Bigg Boss. WIth a fight starting as soon as the contestants enter the house, it will be interesting to see what the future holds for them next.

As the premiere ends, the promo for the first day of Bigg Boss season 16 begins. In the promo, after the energetic wake up song, Bigg Boss declares that the song was the last wake up song of the season and orders contestants to recite an oath praising him. The video ends with the hashtag #khelgayebiggboss.

Shehnaaz Gill wished Sajid good luck through a video and requested him not to get into fights and show gis fun side.

Salman Khan tells the audience that his and Sajid's family have known each other for years. Salman recounted that he, Sajid, and Chunky Pandey learnt acting together under Sajid's aunt, veteran actress Daisy Irani. Sajid confessed that when he had three blockbuster hits, he developed an arrogance and was brought to his senses by the audience when his Himmatwala and Humshakals were a box office failure. Then we was ousted from Housefull 4. He became very humble after that and wishes to show the world his real self.

Sajid Khan enters the show in his quirky manner by first refuting that he is not a part of the show but then proudly professes that he is a part of the show.

As the show goes into break, we see the promo of filmmaker Sajid Khan entering the Bigg Boss house.

Nimrit Ahluwalia suggests to shift Archana's bed to make space for the contestant's bags. A fight broke out between Archana and Nimrit as she refuses to give up on her show. Subul tries to reason with Archana that the contestants have to listen to Nimrit as she has been appointed the captain of the house. However, Archana refuses to listen and storms of to the bedroom. Meanwhile, Sreejita and Tina enter the house.

Along with Tina, Sreejita De entered the show and both said that they are very good friends when asked by Salman. However, Salman showed Sreejita's video where she claimed that TIna is not her friend but is dominating and possessive.

After Gori, Uttaran's Tina Datta entered the house and expressed her wish to find a beau in the course of the show.

Salman Khan danced with Lagori with great enthusiasm. Gori said that she wanted to meet Salman as she had a childhood dream where the star came to her hometown and she introduced her to everyone as her maternal uncle(mama). Grateful, Salman promises her that he will definitely visit her town Nagour someday.

As the show goes into a break, it showed a promo where the first fight of the season is going to occur between Nimrit Ahluwalia and Archana Gautam regarding the placement of the bed. Also, Sajid Khan is going to enter the show in sometime.

Manya entered the house and Nimrit show her to her bed, which is situated beside Archana. Manya doesn't want that bed and asks for a different one. Nimrit refused and said that she has to sleep where she decides. After Nimrit left the room, Archana and Manya started talking about her manners with Archana. Looks like rivalries have started to brew in the house already!

MAnya SIngh taught Salman Khan some mannerisms that super models follow in beauty pageants like winning expressions and ramp walk. Salman puts his own twist into them.

Miss India 2020 runner up Manya SIngh enters the housed wearing a sparkling blue dress and her Miss India sash. Manya said that even after she became Miss India, she was out of work for two years. Her father still takes the citizens of Mumbai into rides with his Auto.

Sumbul entered the house after which Nimrit showed her her bed

Salman asked if she can take on the other contestants. The imlie star said that she has faced a lot of adversities in life. She said that when she told her father about her decision, he first showed her the fights that happen in the house, after which she got nervous. Sumbul's father than gave her a poem he wrote on courage and hard work which she started reciting and her father came to the stage to recite with her. Sumbul's father gave his blessing's to the actor as she enters the house.

Salman quips with Sumbul by pronouncing her name incorrectly, which the girl corrects. When Salman asked her if she is nervous for going inside the house, Sumbul says that she is afraid of his anger and goes on to imitate the star and his various moods and styles.

Season 16's youngest contestant, the nation's hearthrob, Imlie star Sumbul Touqeer entered the show with a mesmerizing performance to the song 'Chaka Chak' from the movie Atrangi Re

Shiv and Soundarya entered the house and Nimrit decided their beds for them as the captain of the house.

Bigg Boss Marathi winner Shiv Thakare entered the BIgg Boss House in a asthetic traditional attire

Dr. Soundaya Sharma enters the show dancing to the song 'Aafat' Only Time will tell if she will be Aafat for her co-contestants or not.

Suryaputra Karan's Duryodhan, Shalin Bhanot entered the house with a bang, dancing to the tunes of KGF and Pushpa's 'Ey Bidda'. According to his VT, Shalin aspires to take Salman's place as the host of the show

Bigg Boss called Nimrit into the confession room and says that he made a mistake by making Nimrit the captain as she was supposed to assign the contestants their room instead of discussing with them. BIgg Boss gave NImrit one more chance to prove herself.

Gautam and Archana are warmly greeted upon their arrival by the rest of the housemates. Archana decides to take the cooking duties. Nimrit guided Archana to her bed.

Salman called Hrithik Roshan for Archana and lo! the Hrithik Roshan of TV, Gautham Vig appeared.

Archana said that she loved a guy a few years ago but it didn't work out as the loved her money more than her. So she decided to get married directly. Let's see if she gets someone to settle down with in the show.

Actor-Politician Archana Gautam entered the house next. She plans to fight and win the next elections after winning the show.

Salman asked Stan who will he miss the most inside the house. Stan replies by saying he will miss his mom, dad, studio, and 'Buba' AKA Anam Sheikh, a girl with whom his is to get hitched with next year.

Salman Khan asked MC Stan the cost of his entire attire. Stan replied that his get-up costs around Rs. 60-70 lakhs. Salman said that he has seen many contestants over the years, but Stan is one-of-a-kind.

Straight from the P-town(Pune), MC Stan entered the show with a terrific rap which he sang in front of Salman. When Salman asked, Stan said that he needs to detox and clear the controversies which surround him.

Ankit and Priyanka entered the house and met Nimrit and Abdu. As they tour the house, Nimrit and the duo tour the house and select their beds and house duties. Priysanka insists on making chapaatis.

Salman Khan has fun with the TV couple by taking a stray hair from Ankit and putting it on Priyanka. The more Salman tries to explore the chemistry between them, the more the duo deny the fact and say thatr they are just good friends who care for each other. Joining them will be Uttaran fame Tina Dutta, Imlie's Sumbul Touqeer, Housefull director Sajid Khan, SHalin Bhanot, Bigg Boss Marathi 2 winner Shiv Thakare, Yeh Jaadu hai Jinn ka fame Sreejita De, Raktanchal 2 star Soundarya Sharma, and Femina Miss India 2015 winner Manya Singh.
