Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 Update: The second season of Ekta Kapoor's Bade Achhe Lagte Hain featured a generation leap three months ago, with Niti Taylor and Randeep Rai taking over as the lead protagonists from Disha Parma and Nakuul Mehta.

Despite fans' excitement over the fresh pairing of Niti and Randeep, the new generation of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 failed to garner the expected response from the show's loyal viewers.

In an unexpected turn of events, the creators have decided to end the show and launch a third season. That's right! It has been confirmed that BALH 2 will go off the air only three months after the leap.

BADE ACCHE LAGTE HAIN 2 ACTOR ON SHOW GOING OFF-AIR

In a recent interview, Niti and Randeep's BALH 2 co-star Abhinav Kapoor, who played Vikrant in the show, revealed that he's sad.

Sharing his sadness, Abhinav told ETimes, "The show was very close to my heart because I was there in the first and the last scene. I was very emotional when I got to know that it was ending. I have played this character for around two years, and this character had become part of me. To detach from this role is going to be difficult for me, so I am taking a vacation for a few days. I also have a close association with the production as I have worked with them on 10 shows now. I got along well with the entire cast of the show and that makes it tougher."

One being asked if there are chances of him being a part of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2, he added, "No one has approached me yet. But if they reach out to me at any point, I would like to give it a shot."

BADE ACHHE LAGTE HAIN 2 GETS EXTENSION?

For the unversed, the cast and crew of Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 recently wrapped-up the shoot and bid goodbye to each other. However, the latest buzz suggests that the show has got an extension of around 15 days and the team will be soon back on sets.

However, an official announcement is still awaited.
