The episodes on Monday will show how Anupamaa has distanced herself once again from everyone and is now a caretaker of an old age home, while Anuj has become mentally unstable. Since the promo has been released, there are speculations that a few characters may exit or be put on hold as the story will focus once again on Anuj and Anupamaa after the leap. Sukirti Kandpal, who plays Shruti, has already confirmed her exit from the show. According to recent buzz, Yashdeep and Beeji's characters will have an open ending. It is also stated that Toshu's character may also exit the show. In a recent conversation with FilmiBeat, Gaurav Sharma, who essays the character of Toshu, opened up about the possibility of Toshu's journey ending in the show post leap.

When asked about the rumours of characters exiting the show, including Yashdeep and Beeji, and whether Toshu will continue being part of the Rupali Ganguly's TV show, Gaurav Sharma said, "Everyone is going to continue to be part of the show. There is no big leap happening, it's just a small transition. Every character will continue to be part of the story in different ways. As for the characters you have mentioned, based on the information I have and the scenes I have shot, no one is leaving."

As of now, it seems that no actor except Sukirti Kandpal is leaving the show. However, it is clear that for at least a month or two, the story will entirely focus on Anuj and Anupamaa's love story, leaving less on-screen space for other characters.
