Adding to the controversy, Bhojpuri superstar and politician Ravi Kishan appeared on one of the weekend ka vaar episodes and expressed his disapproval of Shivani's behavior, suggesting that it would bring shame to her village. While Shivani respects Ravi Kishan's advice, in an exclusive conversation with FilmiBeat she wished that he had used different words while addressing her behavior.

Reacting to the criticism she received for her behavior on the show, Shivani said, "On one side, people tell me that I am rude and have no sense to talk, but I was defending myself, asking them not to use such words for me. I am not rude or stupid, and I will be the way I am."

Regarding Ravi Kishan's remarks, Shivani said, "When Ravi brother made statements such as 'I take flying arrow, I speak very loud,' and suggested that my behavior would bring shame to my village, I felt that maybe I need to rectify some of my actions. But even today, I feel I was not wrong. I behaved in a certain way because others were behaving in a certain way. If Ravi brother had said at that time, 'Shivani, you are doing good but you just need to take care of something,' maybe I would have performed better."
