Big Boss: A Drama?

Big Boss, the reality show on Sony Television is wading through many controversies one after the other. Audience' expectations are soaring high as they anxiously head for the real excitement and drama. Taking after the original one Big Brother, Big Boss has many an interesting event over the weeks. With the passing of each day tension is building up.

John Abraham's visit, the controversy surrounding the card sent by Ravi's wife, the eviction of Anupama Rao to the much spoken issue of whole show being a mere fabrication, a staged one. Much has been spoken and written about the authenticity of the show. The entire concept of celebrities being housed under a roof and the ensuing drama is the USP of the show. What is striking is that most of the events appear to be filmy or rather concocted in a dramatized form. The cat is yet to pop out of the bag!

The surprise entry of Baba Sehgal and the return of Rakhi Sawant have caused a stir. Rakhi in her unique idiosyncratic style adds much spice to the show whether it is her inability to read English properly or mingling easily with the inmates of the house. She adds much drama to the show, blaming her parents for lack of proper education, the callous behaviour of the inmates of the house and so forth. The mounting tension between Ravi and Amit has also raised many ripples among them. On Thursday the home mates were given assessment charts to determine the hardworking home mate, the nosey one, the simpleton, etc. This enabled to bring out their inner feelings towards one another and the hidden hatred as well as fond feelings for one another. Deepak, Ravi and Rupaali are to face the judgement this week. The day of judgement is nearing; much is expected as well as much remains unsaid with the suspense soaring high.
