Wonder when newcomer Angad Bedi (son of cricketer Bishen Singh Bedi) will feature in the mega-hit "Prithviraj Chauhan - Darti ka Veer Yodha" as new mature Prithiviraj Chauhan. Chocolate boy Rajat Tokas, currently playing the title role of Prithviraj Chauhan, is a heart-throb of many viewers. He is loved by the Indian audience and purportedly is the reason for him to last for such a long time in this serial.

This serial is produced by Shubhas Sagar, Jyoti Sagar and Prem Sagar, sons of late Dr. Ramanand Sagar, famous producer of mega historical serials under the banner of Sagar Arts Production. The famous Indian historical series like Ramayana, Shri Krishna, and Vikram Aur Betaal are also part of Sagar Arts. Ace of mythological film-maker, Prem Sagar points out that Angad will soon be seen in the serial but can't disclose when. He states, "Rajat is very famous and is appreciated by Indian audience. That's why we don't want to stop his character so soon. Hence Angad's character is been delayed for a while."

Looking forward to see Angad as a Rajput warrior in the super-hit serial, 'Prithviraj Chauhan - Darti ka Veer Yodha' in near future.
