Interesting pair to host Rajiv Gandhi Awards

The hosts at this year's Rajiv Gandhi Awards were an interesting pair -- veteran actor Anupam Kher and the Great Indian Laughter Challenge's bubbly anchor Parizaad Kolah Marshall.

Rajiv Gandhi Awards felicitates individuals who have excelled in their respective fields. No wonder, it was an unforgettable experience for Parizaad. "I am proud to be a part of this event as it is held in the memory of Late Rajiv Gandhi. I feel really honoured. Also, sharing the stage with a veteran actor like Anupam Kher was wonderful. We shared a great rapport. It was a privileged experience for me," she said.

The evening also showcased stage performances by films stars like Vivek Oberoi, Aftab Shivdasani and Koena Mitra.
