Zee TV pays homage to daughters

Daughters are special. And to pay homage to them, Zee TV has announced a week-long celebration starting September 24. 'Betiyann Diwas' will mark the completion of a year of Zee's popular show, 'Ghar Ki Lakshmi – Betiyann'. The show began as the channel's attempt to raise the relevant issue of gender discrimination in society, and it was well-received by audiences across the country.

Popular personalities and ordinary citizens will discuss and comment on why daughters are special, as part of the celebrations. Apparently, the episode on September 27 is a must-watch, and has been termed the 'mega episode' of the serial, to be telecast at 10 pm.

We wonder if there will be a 'Saas Diwas' soon.
