NDTV ropes in Shankar Mahadevan and Prasoon Joshi

NDTV Imagine is in the news quite often, what with its launch scheduled for January. Their musical extravaganza, 'Dhoom Macha De', is a reality show, for 'real talent'. And to make sure the talent is as good as it can get, the channel has roped in 'Shankar Mahadevan' and 'Prasoon Joshi' as judges for the show.

Says Shankar, "On 'Dhoom Macha De', we are not looking for singing talent … we already have it in abundance. This is a show to judge the participant's overall 'live' performance. It's a tough task for us as judges, but you can be rest assured that this show will have a lot of action and energetic performances from the country's popular artists."

Prasoon agrees with him, and adds, "As a judge, I will be looking for the 'wow' factor… something that appeals to the heart and mind."

The show will see 'Anaida', 'Baba Sehgal', 'Babul Supriyo', 'Devang Patel', 'Jaspinder Nirula', 'Jassi', 'Kamaal Khan', 'Richa Sharma', 'Sapna Awasthi', 'Suneeta Rao' and Taz come together in to compete at what they do best- LIVE performance.
