Jeetu
Malkani,
who
played
the
character
of
Pranay
in
Kahanii
Ghar
Ghar
Kii,
was
kicked
out
of
the
show
because
he
could
not
act,
or
that
is
what
a
local
entertainment
tabloid
said.
Apparently,
his
performance
was
wooden,
and
he
did
nothing
to
improve
it.
The
real
story,
apparently,
is
that
Jeetu
was
down
with
jaundice,
and
his
ill-health
stemmed
from
the
hectic
shooting
schedules.
"The
doctor
warned
me
to
not
to
shoot
at
least
for
15
days
and
advised
bed
rest," he
says,
"but
the
production
team
did
not
allow
that,
and
I
was
called
to
shoot
on
the
third
day.
Since
then
my
health
has
deteriorated."
He
adds
that
he
was
told
that
he
would
have
to
shoot
between
6
am
and
11
am,
but
the
production
unit
made
him
wait
till
6
pm.
He
had
a
temperature
of
104
degrees
later
that
day.
"I
was
not
even
aware
of
my
dialogues
and
I
was
just
repeating
was
the
writer
asked
me
to.
My
condition
was
so
bad
that
I
was
vomiting
while
delivering
my
lines," says
Jeetu.
He
then
took
a
few
days
off,
but
his
condition
did
not
improve.
Finally,
it
was
Ekta
Kapoor's
assistant,
Tanushree,
who
told
him
that
he
had
been
replaced.
"I
did
not
have
any
objection
because
I
know
that
there
are
time
limits
and
deadlines,"
Jeetu
insists,
"but
all
these
reports
in
the
tabloid
are
false."
The
actor
adds,
"I
have
sent
all
my
blood
reports
from
June
till
now
to
the
production
house
as
I
am
very
particular
about
such
things."
Jeetu
is
currently
recuperating,
and
hopes
to
take
up
some
good
projects
soon.
