Kyunki's Melodrama

"Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi" is heading for a new look with the 'Ara Ra Ra' Daksha Ben theatrical comeback on board a cruise into the Virani household with her chirpy humour and naughty ways. Much hustle and bustle is in store for the audience who have ardently followed episode after episode.

Virani household is the one hot spot where the climaxes of most movies merge and what emerges is a masala mix, a medley of melodramas. Shantiniketan is perpetually buzzing with action - love affairs, break-ups, reunions, gossips galore, kitchen politics and family emotional drama. With the avant-garde generation in action and Tulsi as the sole champion of justice, the dramatic turn of events has got a new lease of life. Bhoomi-Tulsi-Mandira skirmishes are rife with Lakshya-Krishna Tulsi-Eklavya and Nandini-Karan-Tanya love triangles getting all the more mushy day by day.

Love affairs and their incidental break-ups create much tension and bring forth glimpses of the past along with it. While Krishna Tulsi - Eklavya break up is reminiscent of Ansh-Nandini episode nevertheless changes have been inducted here and there. While Ansh was maliciousness at its zenith, Eklavya more inclined to the sober side is able to handle the situation with a stoic silence. One can however spot negative shades in Eklavya's character with the Laksya-Krishna Tulsi engagement, which took place. A painfully heartbroken Eklavya was inconsolable beyond words. Love that sparked in his heart has burst out into blazing embers with no sign of relief whatsoever.

Daksha has brought back fun and rollicking humour with her curious yet innocent queries, weird language style and mannerisms. Imparting a lighter vein to the whole story the character gels well into the framework as one naughty yet lovable gossipmonger. The politics is rife with Daksha's ploys to create havoc and Tulsi ever ready as the perfect foil to all these. Daksha's re-entry has all eagerly awaiting JD and Prajakta chachi, who are reported to be joining back the fold pretty soon.
Drama is intense and relationships are perpetually changing colours. With anticipation the audience are eagerly awaiting the final verdict as to who would eventually win the hand of Krishna Tulsi in marriage even though she has already got engaged to Lakshya and whether Ansh would make a resurgence through the persona of Eklavya. Time would unfold and we would see what more Kyunki has in store for a reality-famished audience.
