Q: You were a model, what drew you towards acting?
A: I really enjoyed modeling and I still do. Whenever I walk the ramp, I feel like a queen. But somehow, it was not giving me the complete inner satisfaction that I was looking for. I felt I needed to do something else too. Thus I tried myself in acting and got that satisfaction. But here too I was not getting the kind of roles I identified with. But then Viruddh happened and I took it up.

Q: So are you continuing with you modeling assignments?
A: Oh yes, I'm doing modeling too. Viruddh takes away just 15 days a month and so I do a lot of ramp walks or hosting shows and even advertisements.

Q: Whom do you like, Smriti as an actor or Smriti as a producer?
A: I would choose Smriti as a person. She is such a good person. She always takes care of me. As an actor she is fabulous and self less. She always tries to but my character forward. As a producer too, she is always keeping us happy.

Q: 'Viruddh' is not getting TRPs as it was expected to. What do you have to say for that?
A: See, I personally do not know much about or believe in TRPs. All that I know is that there are people who come up to me and tell me that we like your show and left some other show to watch Viruddh. We know we all are doing or best and have our own loyal audience. We are sure we are going to do well.
