Prashant wows audience in US

Indian Idol winner Prashant Tamang finished a successful tour of the US. The singing sensation performed to packed houses in Washington, Boston, New York City and Atlanta. Prashant wowed the audience across US singing Hindi and Nepali songs. The singer make the event come alive when he invited the female audience to come on stage and sing with him. The shows also was UK based R B singer Raghav perform with Prashant.

The 24 year old singer who shot to fame after winning the Indian Idol 3 contest earlier this year defeating his fellow contestant Amit Paul. It has been a fairy tale journey for the young singer from Darjeeling who was once a member of the Kolkata police band. This was the first performance for Prashant outside the Indian sub continent. He had incidentally performed in Pokhra, Nepal after winning the title.
