Rahul Bhatt - another flop hero turns to being a producer

Joining the long list of actors turning TV producers is Rahul Bhatt, who was last seen in the movie Nayee Padosan in 2003. "Actually I did not want to do any more of these B grade films and was not receiving the kind of role I wanted. So I thought of staying away from the lime-light. In the meantime I kept myself busy writing scripts. Suddenly the idea dawned on me to approach Zee TV. I just threw this idea to Zee TV and they bounced back," informs Rahul.

Rahul is ready with the concept and will be launching a brand new face with this serial. The serial will be called 'Meri Doli Tere Angna' and will be going on floors from the 27th of this month. By next month the show is expected to be on air.

The show is a little love story of a girl. "I am filmy, so my serial will be that way too. I love family dramas; my serial is not too different but the story has been told differently," clarifies Rahul. He will also be producing a daily for DD.
