Just
when
you
thought
that
all
television
actors
are
prone
to
either
slapping
fits
or
fainting
spells,
not
to
mention
throwing
tantrums
and
getting
paid
for
it,
along
comes
someone
like
Sachin
Shroff,
whose
dedication
to
his
work
seems
surreal.
Sachin,
who
plays
the
role
of
Gyan
in
Har
Ghar
Kuch
Kehta
Hain,
cut
his
finger
with
a
knife
while
shooting,
but
decided
not
to
create
a
fuss
till
the
shot
was
okayed.
By
then,
his
finger
was
bleeding
profusely,
and
the
doctor
had
to
give
him
three
stitches
to
stop
the
blood.
"It
was
not
exactly
an
intense
scene," Sachin
said
later.
"I
had
to
gaze
adoringly
at
Aanchal,
who
plays
Siddhi,
while
cutting
vegetables.
If
I
had
asked
the
director
to
stop
then,
the
shot,
which
was
going
extremely
well,
would
have
been
cancelled."
So
he
covered
his
finger
and
continued
with
his
lines.
While
we
wonder
whether
it
was
his
clumsiness
with
the
knife,
or
Aanchal's
intense
gaze,
that
caused
the
accident,
we
are
sure
that
he
has
become
extremely
popular
with
the
production
unit.
If
only
there
were
more
like
him.
