The
blind
girl
of
'Kabhi
To
Nazar
Milao',
Sudeepa
Singh
is
mighty
pleased
with
her
new
show
'Ardhangani'
which
airs
on
Zee,
where
her
looks
are
modeled
on
Paro
played
by
the
ethereally
beautiful
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan
in
Sanjay
Leela
Bahansali's
magnum
opus
'Devdas'.
Q.
Share
with
us
your
experience
working
in
your
new
show,
'Ardhangani'.
A.
It
is
an
honour
to
be
associated
with
the
show.
We
have
focused
on
a
Bengali
family,
and
the
look
of
the
show
is
brilliant.
I
was
a
little
reluctant
at
first,
because
I
thought
I
looked
nothing
like
a
Bengali.
The
final
result
has
been
superb.
I
have
a
very
nice
look.
Q.
How
close
is
the
character,
Kangana,
to
your
real
self?
A.
Like
Kangana,
I
am
bubbly
by
nature,
and
I
believe
in
being
happy,
whatever
the
situation.
I
may
be
sad
for
a
minute,
but
things
become
okay
the
next
minute.
Like
Kangana,
I
am
a
romantic
person
and
dedicated
to
my
family.
Q.
How
was
the
experience,
working
with
your
co-stars?
A.
The
whole
unit
has
been
like
a
family.
My
screen
mother
Indiraji,
who
plays
a
negative
character,
is
very
sweet
to
me.
My
co-star
Ajay
Krish
is
also
very
sweet.
I
am
very
comfortable
working
with
him,
and
our
chemistry
is
clearly
visible
on
screen.
Our
producers
Kinnari
and
Jay
Mehtaa,
too,
are
very
nice
and
understanding.
Q.
How
did
you
bag
this
role?
A.
My
co-ordinator
called
me
for
the
auditions
of
'Ardhangani'
and
I
got
selected.
First
I
was
not
as
keen
as
I
thought
it
would
be
yet
another
daily
soap.
But
once
I
heard
the
concept
and
my
character,
I
was
really
very
excited.
Q.
The
first
four
episodes
of
the
show
were
re-shot,
apparently.
What
went
wrong?
A.
There
was
nothing
wrong
with
the
episodes,
but
the
channel
was
not
totally
satisfied,
as
this
is
their
dream
project.
We
had
to
re-shoot
the
whole
thing.
You
wouldn't
believe
it
but
we
are
working
24
hours
a
day
to
meet
our
deadlines.
But
again,
ultimately
what
counts,
is
a
good
outcome.
Q.
What's
the
best
compliment
you
received
after
the
promos
went
on
air?
A.
Everyone
I
have
met
has
given
positive
compliments.
Everybody
has
liked
my
look
in
the
show.
Q.
People
have
been
comparing
your
character
to
that
of
Aishwarya
Rai
Bachchan
in
'Devdas'.
Does
this
make
things
more
difficult
for
you
as
she
is
considered
one
of
the
most
beautiful
women
in
the
world?
Also
there
are
detractors
again
who
think
you
look
nothing
like
her,
simply
because
she
is
just
too
good.
A.
I
was
a
little
nervous
with
the
expectations
that
people
have
from
me.
However,
I
am
happy
with
the
compliments
till
now.
Q.
Will
we
see
you
in
the
next
season
of
'Jhalak
Dikhla
Jaa',
or
'Nach
Baliye'?
A.
(Laughs)
I
would
love
to
be
a
part
of
a
dance
show.
I
just
love
dancing.
Q.
And
have
you
found
your
'Baliye'
as
yet?
A.
No,
not
yet.
At
present
I
have
no
time
to
fall
in
love.
I
am
just
concentrating
on
my
work.
I
will
let
you
know
when
I
find
one.
Q.
You
were
one
of
the
contestants
of
Zee's
'Cinestar
Ki
Khoj'.
Any
plans
of
entering
in
the
world
of
cinema?
A.
Definitely.
In
fact,
I
am
getting
offers
too.
But
it's
too
early
to
talk
about
it.
