The show must go on for Abhijeet

Veteran singer cum judge of Zee's Ek Se Badhkar Ek, Abhijeet Bhattacharya who had quit the show due to his objection towards the participation of a Pakistani singer Mussarat Abbas is yet again ready to be the part of the show. "Abhijeet will continue as a judge on our show," confirms Tarun Mehra, Business Head, Zee TV.

Abhijeet has always been a vociferous opponent of singers from across the border being given opportunities here in India. The singer has time to time expressed, why India should allow Pakistani people to showcase their talents in our country, when there is enough talent available in India. Abhijeet had once said, "Yaha hamare singers bhooke marr rahe hai," referring to the bunch of singers coming in from across the border.

Well, we really don't know whether Abhijeet do really feels for Indian singers or it was yet another gimmick planned by the channel to raise the TRP of the show.
