Gaurav
Khanna
aka
Ruhaan
of
Zee's
daily
Meri
Doli
Tere
Angana
would
be
seen
in
a
totally
new
character
and
look
in
the
soap.
Inspired
by
the
film
Henna,
the
story
of
the
serial
is
taking
a
dramatic
turn
where
Ruhaan
would
now
suffer
from
amnesia
and
in
the
process,
forgets
his
past.
Q.
We
have
heard
that
the
new
story
track
of
the
soap
has
been
inspired
by
film
Henn...
A.
I
agree
our
story
has
some
similarity
with
the
film
and
it
seems
to
be
inspired
by
Henna,
but
the
treatment
and
characters
would
be
totally
different.
Q.
You
would
be
suffering
from
amnesia...so
would
we
see
new
characteristics
in
your
role
A.
Yeah
of
course,
I
would
be
seen
as
a
totally
different
character
from
what
I
was
before.
I
am
no
longer
a
businessman
and
would
be
seen
living
a
normal
life.
The
newer
one
would
be
more
jovial
in
nature.
Q.
Any
kind
of
special
preparations
you
are
going
through
in
terms
of
your
look
and
costumes...
A.
I
would
have
to,
as
now
I
would
be
playing
the
role
of
a
small
town
man.
But
at
the
same
time,
I
am
being
adopted
by
a
very
rich
businessman,
so
I
would
be
seen
wearing
casuals.
Q.
Who's
playing
the
character
of
Sargam
and
how
will
your
reel
chemistry
develop
with
her?
A.
Shruti
Sharma,
who
previously
was
in
Mamta
plays
Sargam.
It's
been
nice
working
with
her
and
the
scenes
are
coming
out
really
well.
That's
all
I
can
say
as
I
am
talking
to
media.
Q.
Do
you
think
that,
public
will
accept
you
in
your
new
image
when
compared
to
the
old
one?
A.
See,
you
can't
force
anyone
to
accept
what
they
see.
They
have
liked
me
as
Ruhaan
and
I
hope
that
they
would
accept
me
in
this
new
image
too.
Q.
When
did
you
decide
to
make
a
career
in
acting?
A.
When
I
started,
I
just
got
into
acting
with
an
intention
to
earn
my
pocket
money
and
did
small
roles.
It
was
two
years
back
when
I
acted
in
Kumkum
and
that
changed
everything.
Lot
of
people
praised
my
performance
and
advised
me
to
carry
on
with
this
profession.
Q.
Are
you
happy
with
your
career
graph?
A.
The
journey
till
now
has
been
very
good
and
I
have
been
lucky.
Yeah,
you
can
say
that
I
am
pretty
much
satisfied
with
it.
Q.
Any
plans
of
getting
into
films?
A.
I
have
never
planned
anything
in
life.
Even
television
was
never
planned.
I
started
with
ramp,
and
then
I
did
few
commercials
before
getting
into
television.
Let's
see
what
future
has
in
store
for
me.
I
just
take
life
as
it
unfolds
and
never
force
my
decisions
on
it.
Q.
Would
we
see
Gaurav
participating
in
a
reality
dance
show
like
Nach
Baliye?
A.
I
would
really
love
to
do
it.
I
have
even
performed
in
Star
Parivar
Awards,
Sa
Re
Ga
Ma
Pa,
etc.
Q.
So,
who
would
be
your
baliye?
A.
I
simply
don't
know
and
have
kept
my
options
open.
I
am
yet
single
and
ready
to
mingle.
