JD Majethia launches Ek Packet Umeed

JD Majethia along with writer and co-producer Aatish Kapadia of 'Hats Off Production' has announced their brand new venture on television 'Ek Packet Umeed'. The announcement was made at a function held last night at 'D Ultimate' in the Mumbai suburbs. The party that started off late had the entire cast celebrating their upcoming project that hit off on NDTV Imagine at 8.30 pm every Tuesday from February 5. The occasion also marked J D Majethia's birthday and a unique set of five cakes were cut marking the date as well as the commencement of his fifth show!

The ensemble of cast compromises Rupali Ganguly, along with Lubna Salim, Sucheta Trivedi and many others were present at the occasion. 'Controversy Queen' Rakhi Sawant made a short, but eye-catching entry with boyfriend Abhishek to wish the legend on his much awaited day.

Many other celebs from the industry also came in to celebrate the occasion and among them were 'Nach Baliye' performer Sweta Keswani with fiance Alex O' Nell, Saakshi Tanwar and Juhi Parmar. Director Vipul Shah along with wife Shefali Shah and actor Satish Shah also made a grand, but quite a late entry.

After the successful launch, the cast and the guests were seen dancing away to some great music played by the DJ and enjoying themselves to enticing Indian cuisines.

Well, one would surely look forward for another show coming from HATS OFF!
