Mansi Verma appears on Jai Maa Durga

Mansi Verma is making a special appearance in Star Plus' Jai Maa Durga in the upcoming two episodes. Mansi plays the role of Mohini who has been created by the King of Gods, Indra and Kaamdev. Her task is to use her beauty and devious ways to cause a rift between the demon brothers, Shumbh and Nishumbh who have been given a boon by Brahma that they cannot be killed by anyone except a woman.

Taking advantage of this boon both of them try to capture the three loks and create havoc amongst the Gods. The brothers fall for Mohini"s tricks but realise the truth later and try to kill her. Maa Durga steps in to save her and takes on an avtaar and kills both Shumbh and Nishumbh.

Mansi, a very spiritual person had recently visited Mata Vaishno Devi (who is said to be an avtaar of Durga) to seek the goddess' blessings. The Goddess definitely seems to have blessed Mansi because she was offered the role of Mohini as soon as she returned back home. Mansi is a known face in the TV circuit and has earlier starred in many shows like CID, Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii etc.
