Shahrukh to host TV quiz show

After his short run in Kaun Banega Crorepati 3 Shahrukh Khan is all set to make his come back on the small screen with a brand new show Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hain on Star Plus. The show which literally means Are you smarter than a 5th grader will test the basic knowledge of the participants by asking them questions based on subjects studied from Class I to V.

The show is inspired from the international show Are you smarter than a 5th grader? which started in the US a year back and has spread to over 50 countries. It will have questions with multiple choice and based on true and false. Each correct answer will take them to the higher level. They will be presented with subjects before the questions and they can quit at any stage of the show.

However on quitting the show the participant must admit that he is not smarter than a 5th grader. Star Plus has also hiked the prize money in the show from Rs 1 crore to Rs 5 crore. The show is expected to go on air soon.
