Smriti Irani and Ekta Kapoor patch up

Smriti Irani has finally patched up with her mentor Ekta Kapoor and will soon be back in Balaji Teleflims. Smriti broke ice with Ekta when she came for the Balaji's Global Indian TV Honours Awards ceremony and danced alongside Gautami Kapoor who had replaced her as Tulsi in Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi. Smriti also did a few steps with Shahrukh Khan.

Ekta later said that she will be honoured to have Smriti back in the Balaji team and will love to do something in collaboration with her. This comes as a huge relief for Ekta after Shweta Tiwari of Kasautii Zindagii Kay fame walked out of Balaji due to her differences with the producer. Smriti Irani has been Ekta's most successful protege.
