Bollywood actress Preity Zinta"s plans for a grand small screen debut have been thwarted by Aishwarya Bachchan. The former Miss World has grabbed the TV show India's Got Talent. The show will be India's version of the hit American show America's Got Talent and will be aired on Colors. It will be a talent hunt show where contestants will be showing their respective skills in singing, dancing and acting.
Preity was in serious negotiations with Colors and even the remuneration had been fixed at a whopping Rs 5 Crores for the first season. But Preity could not give the producers the required dates due to the ongoing Indian Premier League and hence the talks fell away. Preity's loss became Aishwarya's gain as the Bachchan Bahu showed interest in the show which will see her in a completely different role. Ash will now join the elite club of Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan who have hosted television shows.
