Preeti Gandwani upset with rumours

Preeti Gandwani, the lead girl of NDTV Imagine's Dehleez was quite tight lipped on the recent news reports which suggest that her show is on the rocks. Its is alleged that channel is not happy with ratings of this Sidhant Cinevision presentation, which talks about married girl going out to work, “All I will say is that its too early to say anything for we have been on air for just 5 weeks and some twist is on the cards."

This cute Sindhi girl last seen in NDTV"s Ramayan also dismissed the rumours and allegations that both she and co -star Bhuvnesh Mann were taking far too much time during shots, which was affecting the quality of the show. "Our producer and director"s are happy with our performance and they have not told us any such thing," clarifies Preeti. On the other hand gossip is flying around that off late she and Bhuvnesh have come close and that is also hampering the progress of the show, she quips "I don"t know who is spreading such falsehoods but we are just good friends and nothing more."

On the specific question, if the show might be taken off after IPL, she simply clamped up by saying" No comments". However she denied having any knowledge of warning been given by the channel to the production house to shape up or ship out.

Producer Manish Goswami also rejected the buzz that his show might end by saying, "Dehleez is doing good in terms of viewership. The 9 pm slot is the most toughest and even then we are performing well. He also denied any possibility of changing the lead caste. "When we sent an SMS to Shailja Kejrwal EVP - Content, NDTV Imagine asking the same above question we got sent a" NO" reply.

However our source does confirm that things are indeed not going well with Dehleez, but refused to identify the reason saying that if we knew what was going wrong, would we have not rectified it. Another source went as far as saying that the channel might pull the plug on the show.
