Rakhi to invite Abhishek, not mum for wedding

Rakhi Sawant is on Cloud 9 after getting engaged to Gujarati NRI Elesh Parunjwala on Rakhi Ka Swayamvar. The television drama queen said that she wanted all her friends including her ex-boyfriend Abhishek Awasthi to attend her wedding. But the television drama queen was adamant on not inviting her mother as she had severed all ties with her.

Rakhi said that the her family was a closed chapter in her life and under no circumstance will she ever forgive them. She added that all the drama on television can't take away the pain she had gone through due to her family. She said that NDTV Imagine was her family now and she was happy to have been welcomed into Elesh's family.

On her ex-beau Abhishek Awasthi Rakhi said she was happy to know that he showed up for her engagement and she would like him to attend her wedding. She added that she had completely forgiven him for all the wrongs he had done to her. On a candid note Rakhi said he was her boyfriend in the past but today he is her friend.
