After being in the industry for two decades Salman Khan surely knows how to business. Salman will be seen hosting 10 Ka Dum in its second season on Sony Television but he will be less involved that last year. The reason, well Salman is being paid less by the channel for hosting the show. Sources in the channel say there has been a considerable dip in advertisement rates due to the economic slowdown.
Salman Khan who was paid a whopping sum of Rs 89 crores last year will be paid only Rs 44 crores this time around. This pay cut hasn't gone down too well with Sallu mia and he has decided to cut down his involvement in the show too. In a meeting with the programming head Salman made it clear he won't use his clout to get his friends and other celebrities on the show this time.
It may be mentioned that last year Salman had got a host of celebrities including Aamir Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee and Rakhi Sawant among others on the show. Danish Khan, Vice President of Sony however denied all these and said the show will not lack glamour this time and Salman has mentioned no such condition. Well its seems 10 Ka Dum will lack some 'Dum' in its second season.
