B4U Music leads music genre in India

Music channels have always attracted the viewers as they offer some relief from the saas-bahu sagas of the other entertainment channels. A latest data released by TAM for Week 27 of 2010, the B4U Music channel has come up as the most watched Hindi music channel in India.

B4U music is leading with 20.58 GRPs beating other well-known music channels like MTV India and 9XM. According to the data (CS15+), MTV India took second place with 17.36 GRPs and then 9XM with 17.46.

'Aawaaz De Kahaan Hai" is a programme of the channel, which airs old and classical movie songs. The data shows that this particular time band airing 'Aawaaz De Kahaan Hai" has garnered good GRPs.

With 13.49 GRPs, Music India has been placed fourth in the rating and Channel V comes next with 13.32 GRPs and Enter 10 takes sixth position with 11.17 GRPs.

Other music channels Zoom TV, E-24, Zing and ETC Music have taken the bottom places in the ranking. B4U Music is leading the TAM ratings in the time bands of 07:00–09:00, 17:30–18:30 and 21:00–23:30.
